Pros & Cons
Pros
The person has an apartment and this kept all the discs together neatly. It sits in the closet taking up a smaller footprint and will protect the disks. Fits easily in the cupboard, taking up only a small space.
Sturdy, easy to open/close, disks fit securely. Gripper feet make keeping them safely stored easier. They stack well and stay in place without sliding off.
Cons
The door is finicky and it's hard to get the blades into the slots. They need to be configured a particular way. Cheap, flimsy product.
Highlights
Quality
The dlc-dh is well made and easy to use.
This is sturdy and just the right size.
I had previously purchased the blade holder that holds the blades vertically and it does not fit the 14 cup size blade.
Cool idea but don’t let the picture fool you.
Price
I decided to look on amazon and found this for less than half the price.
Shipping

Its great for prepping for soups and other things but it doesnt do thick slice

These are stackable if you have more than 3 discs but it would have been nice to have a single 6disc version

Besides being pricey for what is essentially a plastic box the biggest negative is lack of a place to store the disc stem
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
So now you have a nice tidy place to store your discs but the stem has to just sit on top or lie next to it or whatever

To get disc stem storage you have to go to the bdh2 blade and disc holder but it costs 50 more and youre still limited to 3 discs

Also if you have only the one standard chopping blade you probably just leave that in the processor and dont need storage for chopping blades

Overall the dlcdh is what it is and it does its job well if you dont mind stacking units to get more storage and dont mind just tossing your disc stem in alongside the box
