The coffee tastes great. Such small and inexpensive things to make a almost perfect coffee maker. Only dislike is the overflow hole is directly above the electrical cord.

Use spring water when making your coffee, if you are a real coffee fanatic. The temp for me is great. The carafe keeps coffee very warm.

This model has a filter door that swings open to access a removable, plastic filter basket. Swapping in my old filter basket allows the door to snap closed, though the gap is still there. Takes a #4 cone filter or can order a stainless filter.

After less than 2 years a seal or something breaks and the outside of the carafe gets hot. All the warmth dissipates within an hour. The carafe brews extremely weak coffee.

Coffee tastes very good buy poorly designed. It regularly overflows and leaks coffee grinds and hot coffee everywhere. Beware of this pot.

This is cheaply made and not worth the hassle. It is ergonomically poor in quality.
