Pros & Cons
Pros
French classic 6 quart pots with lids are well constructed, distributes heat evenly and i use them both on induction and gas range. I like using a mixer to mash potatoes and this works for that. Awesome stock pot, worth every penny.
They live in a cupboard, on the stove or in the sink. It heats evenly and cleans up easily. I love cooking and have a well stocked kitchen - this is my new favorite.
This stock pot is the perfect size for soups and spaghetti for a family of four to six. It is clad up the sides for great soup. I love to make stews when the weather cools off.
This 6 quart pan is high quality and has even heat distribution. It is now my go to pan in stead of all clad pans which have gotten very expensive. I have all clad pans, and this cuisinart french classic pot is just as good.

And hating allclad because you have to pay 150$ prob but only 40$ for this
I think it is a very good value.

The box said it was a 8 quart pot.
Competitiveness
I looked at all brands, all styles and all sets with their respective add-on's to see what i felt was the best for me.
If i were not a snob i would purchase this french cuisinart line in lieu of all-clad and never know the difference.
According to the research, the cuisinart french classic triply has the same specifications as the famous american fully clad tr... Read More
I see little difference between it and much more expensive all-clad or even viking, and i have a few pieces of both.
