It has a really flimsy piece of plastic that locks it into place. The motor is very noisy and the difference between the high speed and low setting is barely discernible.

The lid with chutes has a couple of different sized holes to put ingredients into, very similar to the magimix.
My daughter-in-law tried it out, she has a kitchenaid food processor and she felt it was definitely better than the kitchenaid.

Blades are really sharp so would have preferred some sort of safety handle as i did hurt myself once

The dough blade can only be used in large bowl which is annoying i use it to peel large amounts of garlic pulse a few times but the bowl is too big for that use and bruises the garlic sometimes
