Pros & Cons
Pros
Cuisinart non-stick pans are very well made, slick as ever, but safer for the family. Only complaint is that the two stainless steel rivets inside the vessel are not nonstick and everything sticks to it. Cleaning the ceramic coating is a breeze.
The 4-quart pot has a very nice s/s lid. It takes a little getting used to that these pots are used with no higher than a medium setting on the stove, but it is small price to pay.
The cuisinart gg19-14 fits the bill perfectly. Worth every reasonable penny. Cuisianrt has a good rating and the price was economical.
Heavy guage aluminum pan heats very evenly. Lighter cuisinart pan heated food a bit quicker. Coffee poured in with no spill or drips.
Cons
Non-stick coating has failed. What good is the eco piece if the product doesn't perform? All-metal cover & non-coated handles make it a burn hazard.
Highlights
Quality
Heats evenly, cleans up easily, nice solid construction.
It is solid, durable and ideal for not-so-friendly tasks for pots.
If you hand-wash this stuff it will last years and the coating does not peel off.
We've used it just about every single day for one month shy of 2 years, as we have old fashioned steel-cut oats for breakfast daily.
