Pros
We received this griddle back in december of 2020 as a present from my mom. Also works well on 240v with good transformer. It works like a champ.
Make sure plates are locked with clasp in back first. I love the fact that the plates are removable. Excited to make some low-carb waffles with the waffle plates.
The scraper they sent with this really works without scratching the surface. Easier to clean up. It's not the most convenient thing to do but it's workable.
My favorite appliance. Doesn't take up much space on my counter top. Fat drip tray is another plus.
Cons
This is a pretty pricey appliance. The clips are made of plastic. Cheep broken piece of junk. Lost money on the shipping return.
Plates melt or chips off. All that happens is the grill plates apply cosmetic grill marks but do not develop a proper sear. A steak, although cooked to a proper internal temperature, comes out as a piece of flavorless dead cow.

On a you tube video that i saw it appears that at one time the front corner of the bottom grill plate had an exit ramp so to speak for grease to drip into a supplied catcher cup

On this grill at the very back of the bottom plate there is a small cut out that allows grease to fall from the plate down to a catching cup that is inserted into the underside of the grill

Since the grill is not slanted like a foreman grill you have to either prop something under the front to force it to lean back or you have to move the food around and try to push the grease towards the back so it falls into the cup

Most of them do work well but honestly they can be very hard to clean up and they just do not do the job well
