Pros
The cooking side of the machine is very satisfactory. Easily removable plates for cleaning. Just remember not to use a metal spatula or the inner surface will easily scratch.
It looks and feels durable and reliable as i'd expect from cuisine art. I just hope it lasts a bit longer this time.
Cons
The cuisinart is a premium priced brand and was disappointed by the machine not working after using it for 3 weeks. It's like buying shoes and finding that they only fit circular feet. Totally useless.
I am quite mechanically minded and could not see any way they were capable of holding securely.
After one use the teflon coating failed. One within the one year-within warranty and the other within two years.

The best toastie maker i have found so far.
This one works really well and the detachable plates make cleaning a doddle.

The 2 main gripes about this machine seem to be people cant find bread to fit the slices are too small

But because of the number of people commenting on this issue i have modified the way i close the lid by pushing down on the top as i squeeze the handles
