Pros & Cons
Pros
I love how convenient it is to use. It's just plain perfect. I really like how durable it is.
Comme ci, comme ça. It’s out of stock on cuisinart website.
Coffee tastes less bitter and acidic and tastes smoother, mellower and more flavorful. I rinse this daily and maybe only have to scrub it once a year depending on how oily your coffee beans are.
Cons
It is also generic and not cuisinart which was not what was advertised. At the bottom of the cup is a large amount of coffee sludge, which absolutely *. It is probably good for pre-ground coffee but my brewer has built in grinder.
Highlights
Quality
Excellent product and our coffed tastes better with the new filter!
Good value and quality for the money.
Stick with cuisinart; you will never lose on quality.
I haven't had any issues with the handle falling off when removing or emptying the filter.
Packaging/appearance
Although the product is listed as a cuisinart gold tone filter, nowhere on the packaging does it say that it is cuisinart brand.
Taps out into the compost, drain, etc.
Competitiveness
I’ve been using the cuisinart coffee maker sinve 2009.
I have an older coffee maker by the same manufacturer.

It didnt look like it would be tall enough to accommodate enough ground coffee for 12 cups with my mr

You still have to run hot water over it to get the remaining coffee grounds out and then continue to run the water for a little bit to make sure that all the grounds go down the drain so you dont stuff up the pipes

Paper coffee filters are cheap and running the extra hot water over the filter to clean it out tells me that were probably breaking even as far as the cost for a cup of coffee when it comes to paper filter versus a gold tone filter

Im sticking with gold tone filters from now on
