Unfortunately for a mysterious reason that escapes me the motor body plastic part that allows to attach accessories melted

The motor still works great but it is the blending shaft design that is the slight flaw in this design

I have always been very careful to hand wash and not immerse it in water all the way but still after so many years the buildup inside caught up with it

Once this buildup happens badly inside the shaft the blades wont work

I even opened do not recommend and cleaned the buildup and oiled it a bit to give it some more time and it worked for about another year after i did that
