What a fun appliance to have at home. Arrived quickly, nicely packaged, easy to clean, and easy to use. Cleans very fast and well.

This is wonderful and easy to use and inexpensive. Don't worry about the 1. No negatives. Thank you and thank you for making this product.

Mix the ingredients together and chill for at least an hour. Freeze the mixture in the freezer bowl upright at the back of your freezer for 24 hours. Mix in the vanilla and let cool before using in ingredient maker.

Cons

Cuisinart is inferior in many ways to the krups. It just churns and churns in the ice cream maker and never changes consistency. Very disappointing. I definitely won’t get another nor can i in good conscience recommend it to anyone else.

Ice cream freezes hard against the sides, but remains much too soft around the paddle. With my krups, the ice cream actually continues to freeze against the insulated wall of the freezer container.

We used to do homemade ice cream with the maker that took a couple hours.

It is a on/off unit with no other functions, so it is very hard to misuse this product.
