Pros
The platform is large enough to let you plunk a fairly big bowl on it. It is so easy to clean and tuck away in the cupboard. Efficient while attractive and comes with batteries.
Simple, atheistically pleasing scale. Ounce mark. It has a tare function.
Cons
This is the second cuisinart product that i have had a problem with recently. The color is not as depicted on the website and even on the actual packaging it came in. This is garbage.

The surface of the scale is glass

I wipe mine with disinfectant wipes but that does not leave a crystal clear surface so if that is the sort of thing that make you crazy youll need some glass cleaner handy

It has has a tare setting where you can place your bowl on the scale press tare and it will go back to zero so that u can correctly measure ur food item

Only issue is if you use a solid plate or bowl or large food it is hard to read and there is no hold button so you can read after item is removed
