Pros & Cons
Pros
The ac’s handle is a little more robust but this one is adequate. Seems to be standard-ish size; a lid from another brand's cheaper 2 quart pot fits fine.
This was my first set of stainless as i’ve only ever used nonstick coated pots and pans. It works easy peasy something louisy. Nice pan and unpretentious too. I also melt butter in this pan to pour over popcorn from my hot air popper.
Cons
Trashed it and ordered a nonstick version of 2. Returned after the first use. This newer version, that has a squared-off handle, has a very poor quality finish. Very disappointing. This is so frustrating.
I did not burn anything, didn’t scour or scrape anything, do not put in dishwasher. The lid rattles constantly once the contents are boiling. If i prop up the lid a bit so that it doesn't rattle, it slides back down.
Highlights
Quality
It's sturdy, cleans up perfectly, heats well, and is resilient.
One of best little pans i have bought and i’ve had a few.
Perfect size, cleans up well, it is (nearly) impossible to burn anything in it, heats slowly and evenly, minimum spatters becau... Read More
Heavy pan, even heat, no stick if used right.
Price
The product is worth every penny in my opinion.
I think it's well worth the price.
For $30, i feel i got about 95% of the utility for like 20% of the price of ac.
My spouse was skeptical about spending $200 on a new pot.
Competitiveness
The cuisinart name is appreciated as well since its a proven brand.
This saucepan by cuisinart was one of the few cost-effective ones out there.
Additionally, cuisinart is a known brand with a lifetime warranty that you know will be around to honor it.
