Pros

Most of my kitchen small appliances are cuisinart. The stainless steel outer cover has a solid feel to it. Not flimsy like so many out there.

Cons

The can must be precisely aligned in order for the lid to be removed. There is no way to tighten it. It pokes a hole in the top and then pushes the can out of the mechanism, onto the counter.

A disgrace for cuisinart named product.

A ripoff. Not worth paying postage to get fixed. Had to go to a handheld opener, and no problem. Have contacted cussinart but have not heard back at this time.

This can opener is sturdy , easy to use and looks good on my counter.

Considering it was a: re-furbished / used can opener.

It was so reliable in all features until it just “wore out” and i am expecting the same from my new one.

Price

I hate to spend almost 50 bucks for a new one, but if it last me another 10 years, i can’t complain.

Competitiveness

I had problems in the past with other brands but this particular model is exactly what i was looking for.

I have owned many electric can openers but this cuisinart can opener is the best can opener i have experienced.

It's super quiet in comparing to my previous electric can openers that i'm owned.
