It isnt easy to get a good spice grinder

You must pulse grind nuts to break them apart before a continuous grind to make a finely ground mealflour and some foods eg apples no matter how fine i chop before grinding will get thrown off the blades and not fully fall back down leaving the grinder blades spinning free unless you either patiently push the food back down with a spoon

If you leave lumps in before a continuous grind the blades can throw the lump up taking fluid with it and covering the top of the lid as there is no gasket ring you can end up with trickles coming down the sides of the cover messy and wasteful

We had a problem with our bowl the blades became loose on the drive axis so the motor would not spin them unless the bowl was empty

Once in a while a larger piece of salt or pepper can prevent it from working

Grinds spices well and have used a fair amount but not daily and the plastic cup that you need to make it grind has inexplicably split in severla places
