The only reason i gave it four stars is because the plastic top of the water compartment is extremely difficult to get off.

I am hoping that over time it holds up and doesn't end up putting out just lukewarm coffee after two years.

The reason i purchased this brewer was because of the higher wattage rating and it's supposed ability to brew hotter.
