Pros

The cuisinart stand mixer is the perfect balance of affordability, performance and capacity. It saves me time and effort on baking.

The speed increases step by step with the rotate button, and the machine is off when it comes back to zero. It's a beautiful color, it's not noisy at all, it runs so smooth.

Cons

Right out of the box it wasn't set correctly to reach the bottom of the bowl. This means that you have to keep stopping and scraping the sides and the bottom down. Mixing paddle leaves 3/4 inch of unmixed batter in bottom of bowl.

Time goes by til 6 months ago, the mixer's screw starts to come loose and fall into the mixing bowl if the mixer continuously mixes for more than 8 minutes. My 30 year old krups hand mixer does a far better job. Very disappointed in them and the mixer... Read More

It’s so nice and makes mixing things, even mashed potato’s, so easy.

I used it a few times and today on the second lowest setting it started leaking a black oily substance into my mixture.

It actually fell off of my counter.
