This made crispy perfect waffles fast and on the first use.
I had a previous cheap model that just wouldn't close properly unless i slammed it shut and then of course waffle batter would fly out.
Simple but good improvements on a classic design.

And a great value for your money
And more importantly, would say that it is worth every penny!
I cannot believe i paid approximately $100 for a waffle maker.
Reading reviews nearly all of them under $200 were hit or miss.
Competitiveness
This flip waffle maker works way better than my fancy gourmet waffle maker that i bought at a gourmet shop for 2-3x the price.
If you have used a belgium waffle maker at a hotel breakfast, this is very similar(if not identical) to that.

With a nonflip waffle maker if you dont put in enough batter you have gaps but too much and the batter oozes out

It was impossible to turn it if it wasnt closed

I decided it was time for a new one and a double because i usually make waffles when i have guests and the one at a time is a pain
