The blades are fat, making it difficult to use. The blades also bend very easily, so the edge blades get pushed up against the next blade. They have to be bent back into alignment.

I have arthritis and using my hands to blend cold butter into flour mix is painful

You still have to take a knife or spoon and scrape butter from between the tines and theres brands that offer a builtin scraper but that just seemed to be one more place to have to try to clean out tiny crevasses
