Pros

Hitch is a factory option nestled between the exhaust and lower bumper fascia. Installed on 2014 jeep patriot latitude. Fit perfectly on my 2015 jeep compass.

The curt 13081 is simple to install. Very easy to install following instructions given. Watch a youtube video on the installation and all of this was anticipated.

Cons

This curt hitch is a joke and a half. The curt hitch brackets are 1 1/2 to 2 inches shorter. You also have to remove what i think is a vacum assist canister or you can'r reach the bolts. This is supposed to come with 4 washers, 4 nuts and 4 bolts.
