Pros

Great fitment on the rav4 after installed. Installed on 2016 toyota rav4. All i know is it lined right up with my rav.

Using a jack and a suitable length of lumber the span was corrected. Just have to remove the dust cover on the left and lower the exhaust on the right. No damage when cranking bolts into a dirty hole. Easy to bolt on and easy to remove.

Received on date as promised. Product is as advertised and is very sturdy.

Cons

When i am notified this problem is corrected. Came either bent or slightly defective.

One of the four bolt is misaligned to the existing weldnuts of the frame. The slotting is a brilliant idea, until it is useless because the slots are maxed to the edge. It scraps on the gas tank and cannot get the holes to align.

Do not buy for 2010 toyota rav4. It is so frustrating spending 2-3 hours fighting with this mount trying to get it to work. If you want a hassle free install that takes ten minutes, this is not the hitch for you.

I bought tap on amazon for $10, well worth it.

I ordered one online, but also found one at napa for $9 - part is "bk t372" and is called "tap - thread spark plug taps 12 mm - 1.

I purchased the said tap on home depot for $10.

I got it used "like new" my a$$.

Packaging/appearance

Bought on clearance damaged box hitch was fine easy install watch youtube for tips

My receiver came in a solid box with a questionable long hole in one side (pictures 1 & 2).

One thing: this ships in a big box with no packaging or anything to protect it, so the box basically comes apart in transit.

The box it came in was damaged but luckily no scratches on it.
