I bought this hitch rather than purchase a new bike rack which could be more expensive depending on the bike rack

Im sure the engineering on curts end was good i believe the chassis on my 2003 highlander flexed or bowed outwards due to age and one bolt cross threaded itself rendering a good job useless

The shipping method and materials used let the receiver shift in transit and fedex must have bent the receiver because this did not go on so easily
