The weight is manageable. The unit is very sturdy, but also very heavy. This rack is nicely engineered and manufactured.
The curt carrier is a screw that holds the rack into the hitch. It has a threaded bolt that ensures a snug fit to the hitch itself. Easy to install and uninstall.
Is this the highest-end primo hitch mount bike rack out there? Good value on this bike rack. Best bang for the buck.
Holds bike securely with mounts and straps. It mounts easily and does not shake or rattle. Installation not as simple as some of the fancier racks.

Ive found that the plastic mounts do tend to move a little with use maybe as the bike is getting 70mph of pressure on the road
