Pros & Cons
Pros
The pin is quite long but found a perfect solution to keep it from moving sideways in the hitch - a pvc connector. Been using for years no issues. Keep the rubber boot on it to keep the moisture out.
Cons
Now whenever i go to unlock it, i am very careful not to let the cylinder slide out. I suppose i was lucky that it just delayed my departure for vacation and didn't leave me with stranded livestock.
This little device has a design flaw. On a 2 receiver there was still way too much wiggle room. Probably just my bad luck to get a defective unit.
Not super thrilled. Will not be buying this piece of * again.
