It would be better though if they threaded the shaft so it could snugup the bike rack or other accessory being used with the trailer hitch

Does not fit thule vertex bicycle rack on curt hitch

Even though the vertex hole is 12 diameter this 12 lock is a bit thicker and would not fit through the threaded hole of the thule vertex

Wished the rubber cap over the key opening was a little more substantial as i can see that falling off in a short while then dust grit and grime might start to get into the lock mechanism

The bike rack will rattle as its not an anti rattle lock
