Pros
The nut and lock washer are zinc plated steel which i presume are for strength reasons. A well made stainless hitch ball. Easy to use and stainless.
It is nice to have one that will not rust. No rust. No more rustly ball eyesore.
Cons
Extra cost for this ball is not justifiable. The nut and washer are not stainless steel. Save your $$$, buy the cheap hitch ball, and replace as needed.
The ball has a thin stainless steel coating on a standard steel ball. Completely negates the purpose of a stainless ball. The stainless coating wears off rapidly.

C'mon guys, spend the extra 10 bucks.
About $10 higher on amazon than the online trailer store, but faster delivery with prime.
For some reason they were too cheap to include a stainless nut and washer though.
Packaging/appearance
The trailer ball arrived in perfect condition.
Competitiveness
As at least one other reviewer noted, the actual finish is much more polished than the manufacturer's photos would indicate.
In fact, it's very similar in appearance to the latest polished aluminum ball mount (a brophy ea20) that i've paired it with.

Although i dont do much towing i bought it back when i lived on the coast since ive seen what the salt airwatersand does to a standard ball in short order

The fact is that no coating will last on a ball under towing conditions so if you want it to stay decent looking then the ball needs to be a solid rust resistant material which this one is
