Pros
Dual receiver allows for hitch basket while maintaining access to the hitch ball. Tried this with a 2,800lb pop up camper and a bike rack on a 2018 4runner.
It's a lifesaver when no one is there to help you. Easy to do. Works like a charm.
Cons
Curt’s dual receiver adapter was wielded together crooked, on the first purchase. The adapter also has some play on the hitch receiver and you can not lock it down with the hitch tightener.

The tongue is solid square bar which extends about 334 into the receiver tube

The receiver tube had holes drilled in on the sides which were filled with weld in addition to the rear part of the receiver tube being welded to the tongue
