Pros

Easy to install, yes, but. I wish the display was brighter like the older version. Some people suggest just strong velcro, which would have made installation easier and definitely solved the problem.

Cons

Two tekonsha ones installed and one smashed curt pos. Called customer support 4 times with no response. Emailed curt and no response, very disappointed.

It is nearly impossible to adjust the controller while driving, and they need to be readjusted often. The braking action is inconsistent, often jerky, and rarely are the brakes applied appropriately.

Save yourself the agony and buy something else.

The brake controller in my tahoe stopped working on first tow. Only works when the trailer is plugged in. The trailer drags the tow vehicle at the end of the stop. Some of the other aspects of the trailer are faulty.
