Of note - this item does fit a 2016 acura mdx with the technology package.
Price
No way i would spend three times the price for oem.
Price was way below honda's price, so was still money ahead paying mechanic to install.
Competitiveness
I highly recommend you watch the related u-haul video on you tube for this make and model year mdx, it is super helpful.
The u-haul video will also tell you what tools/fuse sizes to use, and what slots to put said fuses.
Unfortunately, it does not fit the 2016 honda pilot.
