Pros

Really satisfied with my purchase. Recieved the hitch and was in perfect condition with all parts necessary. Solid receiver very good quality hitch.

Installation requires some kind of lift (for the hitch and/or for the vehicle) or a second set of hands. Tape the inside shims to the frame. Heavy so you need 2 people when it is time to bolt it on.

Curt 14017 on my 2019 ford f-150 supercrew 4x4. Fit perfectly and install was straightforward. Installed on my 2017 f150 xl.

The good thing is i learned how to get the spare tire down and know now to keep a plastic tarp in truck incase i ever have to change a flat tire on the wet or snow covered ground. Fairly easy for laying on your back in a driveway.

Nice hitch. Finally bit the bullet and pick this up. Todays date 7/7/2020.

Cons

It points down. Unfortunately when it is shipped, it is not in a box, and is shipped without any protection at all.

I was surprised that it came with minimal scratches, since most of the surfaces are exposed during shipping.

Was delivered unwrapped with shipping labels just stuck to hitch.

Packaging/appearance

This is probably the third hitch i’ve installed and the first that i didn’t have to drill holes in the frame.
