Pros
Bought this to help with camping gear. Used with large rainproof bag. One addition i will put on it is to stick the reflective tape around the basket for visibility when traveling across the country.
Assembly is easy peasy. Package's compactly, and it would be awkwardly heavy for some people. Two crescent rench and bingo. Easy to install and remove.
Sturdiness and lightweight make this cargo basket the easiest product to use. Built to curts quality of construction as is all of curt products, i have many different products from tow hitch to various other similar applications.
Only complaint is that when the rack is in the upright stowed position it sits *just* close enough to the swing range of the rear cargo door that the paint scrapes against the somewhat rough seam. No sway at all when it is loaded with cargo. Sturdy an... Read More

It tilts downwards! The seller charges 20% restocking fee plus i have to pay for return shipping.

Easy assemble, good size, used 2 times seems sturdy
Very sturdy when installed and expect many many years of use.
Went over rough terrain and it didn’t dislodge and no bending of the frame etc.
We lug grass clippings and branches to the composting facility every weekend with this.

It's an very good product at a very good price.
Shipping
This cargo carrier was great for our family trip to the east coast.
Delivery was supposed to take a few days, it was on my doorstep in less than 24 hours.
The seller had it to my door exactly on time, although it may show as shipped long before it actually leaves the seller's gate.
Shipping was as promised 2 days for free.
Packaging/appearance
It looks great, can take me (a 240lbs guy) on it no worries.
Whether packing extra gear or sticking it in my truck while looking for firewood.
There are matching cargo bags available, we bought one but haven't actually used it yet.
Competitiveness
We use this rather than a bike rack which has made this cheaper and more versatile for us.
