This item will not allow the curt switch ball with 1" shank to fit in its grove to be tightened.

I purchased this with the curt 24178 1" shank switch ball set and curt 45901 channel style adjustable ball mount.

Price

A few bucks to ease the install and removal process, was so worth it.

Seemed overpriced for a piece of iron.
