I use it with my french fry cutter, which needs a heavy down force to operate. My kitchen is early 70's & is hurting for countertop space with the addition of an air frier/oven.

The product listing says that this is 34knife friendly34 but the clinking noise the knife makes when it comes into contact with the board makes me wonder if this board will dull my blade faster than a softer board

I will take the product at face value that it is 34knife friendly34 for now but if after prolonged use i notice that it is dulling my blades i will come back and share my findings
