I have this installed on my wife's computer. The way it is packed makes it seem a little cluttered at first.
Powerdirector is a robust, easy-to-use and comprehensive editing tool for video files. It is user-friendly and easy to use, so even video newbies can enjoy the fun of making and editing videos on your computer.
It's easy to understand. This level is an ultra beginner. Still learning to use it but very easy to do basic tasks like clipping.
The first disc installs the basic software, and the second disc has some additional plugins. Upon deciding a mode, you’ll be prompted to enter your activation code.
Cons
Program is still slow and unresponsive if you load it up too much with clips. When it becomes unresponsive i check how my pc is running and it says its only using 11% of the cpu and 32%.

All the tools needed to produce a quality product.
I am very happy i went with this product.
Ok, with the creative cloud, unless you have hours (or a big training budget) to the point of being days, forget it.
Don't see too much difference from version 15 which more often than not was my down and dirty go too product.
Price
Powerdirector is the best in its category.
However, since few home users need that degree of capability, this is fine for such purposes, and the price is reasonable.

The packaging itself is very nice and informative.

I signed up for my year of free cyberlink cloud and received 25 gb of storage starting from today.
I have had cyberlink software several years now and then left to try others only to be frustrated.

The thin instruction pamphlet included in the box was just a highlevel guide so you wont find a lot of information included for directions on how to actually use the program

As a professional video editor i use the adobe creative suite of editing programs so that kind of claim is really bold
