Only thing i don’t know is if it has a replaceable battery but at this price i’d take that as a bonus if it does.

Over the usb link the nas operating system picked up the ups and read the battery status.

Packaging/appearance


We must have missed this in the online description before buying (still can't find any reference) so only found out after opening the box.


Curiously, the box the unit arrived in uses an imac as an example of how long the unit can run for.

Competitiveness


So instead of 3 ups and 3 surge sockets, it ends up in the real world use as 2 ups sockets and 2 surge sockets.

    On my system a synology nas and my powerhungry computer it had enough oumph to power them for around 12 minutes as long as both devices have been on for a while 400wi only need to to last long enough to safely shut down both devices

    Not having a power cut for ages we had three in one day so i wanted to protect our data so i bought is after some research it connects to the nas via usb so it knows what is going on then plugs in to the ups and away you go

    The day after i installed it we had yet another power cut and it worked the nas then told me it was on battery and if power was not back on it would shut down in 20 min that was the timer i set it also said that it could power it for 120min
