Pros

Software is outstanding, with all the diagnostic, notification, and other features you could want. This is for indoor use and we really don't want to be woken up by the beep for this application.

I go the extra step of plugging in a 1500w heater (or hair dryer) in to each outlet to make sure it can supply high current without fault. When ac power goes out my desktop keeps running. It turns out my modem/router uses more power than i expected.

Cons

This thing just beeps even after it didn’t even support a laptop - toshiba or a small macbook air. It alternates between a double blink plus double beep, then just a single blink and single beeping, every second. Unresponsive support," says toshiba.

This product is non-returnable. Amazon needs to be more clear on the product page when an item cannot be returned. The amazon rep was very nice in addressing my concerns, so my complaint is not with amazon.

The ups no longer works after just one year and three months. On the worst days, you hope it protects your sensitive equipment from surges--not something you can realistically test. Go with apc instead.

Packaged well and was plug and play ready to go.

Competitiveness

I used to favor tripplite, but now this brand is my first choice.

I've found cyberpower makes the most reliable ups for most situations that the average person might have.

Tried the others but none compare to cyberpower for down right reliability.

I've only had it for half a day but it's much better than my previous ups, which was a much cheaper model by apc.
