Cyberpower provides 7 outlets, 4 of which provide surge protection. I have the tower, the monitor, the modem and the router connected to the battery protected outlets and they all withstood the *. My dell tower is very valuable to me because some of m...  Read More

This gives me six minutes of run time after a *. Running a nas without a ups allows the nas to know when it's running on life support and effect a graceful shutdown if power doesn't come right back.

Cons

The ups beeps even when the device is in standby. After a bit, i just let the beep go and put on my headset. After turning it on manually, it shuts off again after 5mins.

The only thing plugged in is my macbook and 2 external hard drives. Nothing that was plugged into the unit was turned on. Just a tv and a playstation. Randomly shuts itself down even without power flickers.

The software you use to control the ups hasn't been updated to support macos sonoma. The only solution at that point is to hold power and restart the ups where the load goes back to 7% & 10%.
