Cons
Do not buy units like this from amazon, we would have been better off ordering direct from the manufacturer. I have lower end models of cyberpower that still work and have taken power outages like champs and this big brother is just a joke.

I have reached out to both amazon and cyberpower with the concerns and possible solutions.
Probably the unit was shipped with the latest firmware, but it would be good to be certain of that.
Price
Just wish the price hadn't nearly doubled since i bought my previous unit 3 years ago.
Packaging/appearance
It has one fragile part only (the front control panel is held on by one screw and not protected well in the packaging.

Mine is an older generac 12kw with a mechanical governor running on propane.

The ups then transferred back to utility power

It charged its battery while the generator was on line and remained quiet for the duration and used no further battery power

You should have two people to carry and keep the box flat if possible

The package was delivered on its side and not sure how it was shipped and handled but the front panel was sheered off when i opened it
