Pros

Battery backup is back in business doing what it does best during brown outs and temporary outages.

These things are so easy to install in your old power backup unit. Very easy install on a cp850avrlcd. Easy change out. Came with link to easy instal video. It works great. This is a super easy install.

The battery fits just fine. The fit is a little tight but doable. Googled the oem number and amazon had it in stock.

Cons

Battery received with burnt and melt/damaged + connector. Software is full of inconsistencies and is generally extremely flaky. I know the software is flaky, but there may have been enough consistency in the way the software was working to tell that t... Read More

Replaced the battery on my 8 year old cp850avr that couldn’t have a runtime of more than 2 minute lightly loaded.

Very easy to install and it appears to be working as new.

If it performs like the original battery it replaced, i will get several years of use before it no longer holds a charge.

Less costly than buying a new unit.

Way cheaper than buying a new upc

Came charged but charged for 2 days and performs like a charm.

Came with link to easy instal video.

Amazon prime came through with next day delivery.

The shipper sent me a link to track the delivery vehicle.

Packaging/appearance

No frills packaging that's easy to recycle.

Even worse was the fact that the box was very hot.

Competitiveness

This actually works better then the battery my ups came with, and it was a cyber power brand ups!

I highly recommend cyberpower ups's and their branded battery replacements to everyone.

Both are 12v 9ah, even though the 1280 is 12v 8ah in theory.

The good news is, that 1280 and 1290 are interchangable if cyberpower or amazon has a shortage of either one.
