Pros

It seems to work fine and saved my cp1500pfclcd from being disposed of. Be sure to check the model of your cyber power backup. I only hope this one lasts (in my ups) another 5 - 6 years.

Installation is fairly straight forward. It slides in easy after removing two screws and sliding out the old battery. Eliminates the need to assemble your own from separate aftermarket batteries.

The old batteries that i'm replacing are also generic batteries. One critical caveat owners of this model need to know - there are actually two incompatible battery types for it. Cyberpower website shows two models of batteries for the same device.

Cons

Unit no longer holds a charge. Had to be forced into the cavity about 1/8 inch too long. Now i keep getting errors and my system has gone down several times because of failing upc.

Glad to be able to order this and have it delivered rapidly so my ups could properly function.

Arrived in two days, relatively easy to swap out; only needed a phillips-head screwdriver.

I needed a replacement right away and with the 1-day prime delivery option.

Once installed your ups is good to go.

I opened up the box i ordered only to discover it was the wrong one.

The pack i received was a pair of leoch djw12v-9.

There were no outer boxes, just the original boxes with a ups sticker slapped on them.

Competitiveness

In most cases, it's all the same quality except for the name brand.

Like i said, i would've bought the generic brand instead of this.
