The alarm is loud enough to hear outside the office. I have to full cycle hold the button down till it cycles to get it back going! This is pure garbage &amp. Absolutely worthless battery backup.

    The 425va does not provide backup power for any long extended period but is good at preventing surge and interruption so you can finish whatever you are doing on laptop and have clean shutdown until power is restored from outage
