Pros

I prefer this vertical design, especially because it's very tight in the garage, so keeping the bikes horizontal would have required more room. I think this is an awesome option if you don't have anywhere outside to put your bikes.

All the hardware is there and even an extra washer. It can also hold other big bulky items that have straps.

Cons

There are only 2 settings up there (about 1 apart) and my bike handles need more room so either the settings (holes in tube) come down or the ceiling goes up. The base rocks so that only two feet are fully seated on the ground at a time. I am scared t... Read More

All metal pieces have visible rust in the bags they come in. It's a light coating on the outside, and the inside is completely rusted. Instructions are very small and very unclear.

Packaging/appearance

The only issue i had was that inside of the pipes rust was already present upon unpacking the box.

The package looks fine, i take it out into the garage where it's a sweltering 99.

Competitiveness

Also, it seems the best way to "hook" the bike in is to use the rear triangle on one side and the top tube on the other.

This is going to be close to a classic car and i couldn't take a chance with an inferior product.

I've used other more affordable stands and it didn't hold nearly as well.
