Pros

It always makes me wonder what designers are thinking when they fail to come up with such innovative ideas which make the item better and saves material in the process. This is worth every penny! Well worth it. Not for shop use but adequate for the ho...  Read More

Worked just as advertised. Works perfectly. Does what it is advertised to do. Otherwise, the item works fine.

Clean cut through my ritchey wcs fork, sanded it with 200-->300--<400 grit. Used this to cut my new carbon fork with carbon steerer (1-1/8) bought the park tool carbon blade for my hacksaw (10 bucks) and this.

Quick, easy, and economical. Easy to use. Was super easy to figure out and use.

Bought this to cut my santa cruz's handlebars. Got a perfect cut on my steerer tube with no risk of messing it up. I have a number of specialized bike tools and like them, this one is good to have in the kit.

Cons

The plastic body is too flimsy and flexes when using it in a vise. Not made correctly.

May not be the same build quality as the park tools one but works well and should hold up to the handful of steerer tubes i’ll need to cut.

Price

For a cheaper option worked extremely well and had no problems at all

I also didn't want to shell out another $60 for a sg-6.

Competitiveness

I'm so glad i found the cyclingdeal saw guide as it works just as well as the pt version.

This is a case where the budget alternative works just as well as the expensive industry standard.
