The “on/off button” style of switch looks sharp and operates completely silently (no audible ‘click’ when turning on/off).
4ghz is crowded and can affect reliability in use.

Unfortunately this wasn’t compatible with my wiring at least i couldn’t figure it out and sent them back for a full refund

You do need to download the cync app to connect it to alexa once connected it responds to being turned on and off but is not dimmable

I was hoping that if we purchased a dimmer bulb it would respond on the app but sadly that did not work if you want it to have that ability you need to purchase the kit that allows for that

Every once in a while it will stop responding and i need to reconnect it but thats not unusual really with anything hooked up to wifi

I’m heavily invested in tplink kasa products but my basement light switches are lacking neutrals so i needed another option

Since the switch doesn’t require a neutral i assume this switch stays “slightly open” to power itself apparently this may cause flickering if the load is under 15w so an e26 bulbtype resistor is included in case you need it

The app is clean and easy to use however it takes a moment to “find” the switch when i open the app something i’m not used to with kasa
