The spatula part is pretty small so they are mostly for small cosmetic containers they would be less effective on lotion or shampoo bottles

Regular soap didnt clean it off i had to use a makeup remover to get one clean

These work fine for using to scrape out jars but they are very soft and pliable and it takes longer to clean out a jar than a stiffer spatula
