Pros & Cons
Pros
Small, lightweight, totally easy to use and accurate. It clips to the headstock and shows the note you sound and the accuracy of the pitch by responding to the vibrations through the neck and headstock. And it was accomplished with a large, expensive ... Read More
D'addorio eclipse tuner goes everywhere with me and my classical guitar. I have one in every violin case that i own and always suggest to my violin students that they get this tuner. The support i received was unbelievable & in this world that is ... Read More
Cons
The screen just flashes/blinks constantly, and then shuts off again. Changed the battery and same result. Put new battery in, doesn't work anymore.
The tuning indication jumps around so much that it's very difficult to know when you're actually in tune. This product is useless. Of all the d'addario products i have owned over the years, from strings to straps to cables this by far is the biggest p... Read More
Tuner is inaccurate and the readout is all over the place. The display is highly reflective and difficult to read at all. The readability is almost nonexistent except in just-right lighting.
Highlights
Quality
Best tuner i have used yet, good quality and great digital display.
This is a high quality piece of equipment.
A lot of reviews say the product is broken cause it’s stuck on a… lol this is a plastic cover like a screen scratch protector.
I clamp it on any guitar i happen to be playing and neck the tuning in no time at all.
Price
I've tried the free apps and even the paid ones and was not happy.
Good price, decent tuner for the money.
I like it so much i'm going to go tip the guy at the guitar store $10 just for existing while i buy stuff on amazon.
Competitiveness
Works much more smoothly than the ranch or the snark, which have readings that jump all around.
I have a few different ones, and this is by far the best one.
I have used snark and other clamp on tuners.
