Highlights
Quality
Awesome flexible gauge of string with the exception that they become a little sticky if gigging outdoors
The e string, even after four months, sounds comparable in tonal quality to the other strings and still has good sustain.
Most of that is the quality of the sounds i can get from my bass.
Sound is totally subjective - 5 stars reflects the quality of the strings.
Packaging/appearance
Pros: nice bright and punchy sound depending on your eqcons: i find them a bit gummy out of the package.
The packaging could be much clearer on the labeling.
They are generally warm out of the wrapper and get warmer as time goes on.
Competitiveness
Best on the market, always consistent and easily available worldwide, better than strings at twice the price.
That problem is really minimized with these strings -- again, at least on a brand-new set.
The e string has (at least on a brand-new set) just about the liveliest sound i've ever heard on an e string.
