Pros & Cons
Pros
The flatwound feature takes most of the unwanted string noise out of the picture. The squeak is a far distant memory. The sound is sharper, as expected from any new set. They sound like a really good acoustic guitar.
Flat wound and jazz light gage are new to me. These are the go-to jazz strings, although most players opt for the heavier ones.
Cons
Disappointed, and apprehensive about reordering. This is not feedback for the seller, per se.

You can still bend strings 1 through 3, but nothing like an unwound third and lighter first and second.
These strings are not bright , they are mellow.
Price
Anyhoo, a new set of these installed on a properly set up guitar sound pretty awesome, if you can afford them.
(i just paid a little more than a third of the cost of these for some acoustic guitar strings from my acoustic guitar, $7 vs.
I've tried others, including the super expensive thomistic ($30!
A little pricey for their short life.
Packaging/appearance
The outer packaging was fine so i assume either amazon or the seller sold me a damaged pack deliberately.
This one had one corner of the package mostly torn off.
Competitiveness
I've tried various brands of flat wound guitar strings and found d'addario chromes to be the best for the money.
The only strings slightly better than the chromes are thomastic-infeld jazz swings at 3x the cost.
