Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons

Pros

Both types of strings offer full, round bass notes and clear treble notes. These are my first flamenco set, as i've always used traditional classical ones before. Now it matches all of my ukuleles that are all strung with aquila lava.

Dd flamenco clears are the best overall for sound and feel. I love the raspy sound i get from these strings, they make my blanca conde sing. Chords have a nice traditional sound.

They have yet to break and they continuously give a clear bright sound. They never disappoint! They have the raspy old school flamenco sound that i like.

Cons

They sound dull. They refuse to stay in tune. Tried calling and emailing customer service.

Quality

I use these string on my flamenco guitar and the sound quality is awesome

Great vibrato and balanced tone across all strings.

I used the 820s everyday for a month playing 4-6 hours a day and they start to break and tare around the one month mark.

Not designed to have a sustained ring so if your looking for that you need regular classical nylon style.

Price

Purely flamenco, for this price you can't beat it.

I think that adds to the further uniqueness of the set --- oh yeah a great price too.

Overall, they are pricey, but worth it in my opinion.

Good basic strings for a good basic price.

I have tried tons of other brands, and even standard nylon.

These flamenco strings, however sound good and are lasting longer than the other brands i have tried.
