Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons

Pros

The guages are just right to give an amazing classical tone. Sound good and seem to stay in tune once stretched. I play on gibson les paul and a martin acoustic usually, but this is my new favorite.

The guitar sounds as good, or better than prior to the replacement.

The skinniest is the fourth string, the fattest is the sixth string, and the middle one is the fifth. To the people who had such traumatic experiences trying to differentiate the colors (lol), a they get smaller with each successive string.

Cons

These are color coded. Went out of town after restringing, tuning guitar and when returned the e string was snapped on its own. This was a big disappointment.

Quality

Good quality, easy to install and play.

These strings sound great, very easy to play at any level, hold up to a beating.

This poor thing had steel strings on it.

I actually just snipped off the ball ends and tied them up in the standard manner at the bridge!

Price

They sound much better than the price would suggest too.

These are great sounding strings at a great price.

I purchased a cheap acoustic classical guitar to garage sale.

Good for they price 👍🏾 it was what i was looking for

Packaging/appearance

There's a guide on the inside of the package that has the color code for each string.

I snapped the g string tuning, so ill be ordering another pack.

Competitiveness

Great price point compared to other sets.

First of all i have read comments about not being able to tell which string goes where

The friend doesnt play religiously and shes only just getting back to trying to learn to play guitar so i couldnt justify over spending for strings

These 34student34 strings clearly and amply filled the bill

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The 3 bass strings are silver wrapped so they never corrode and the 3 treble strings are plastic so no corrosion there either

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Stringing them up compared to a steel string fixed bridge is a little more involved but not something anyone cant learn to do either
