Pros & Cons
Pros
It’s more flexible than brass strings, which making bending notes and barre chords much easier.
Cons
They sound bright, similar to their 80/20 bronze, which isn't the warmth i'd expected from their description. They are lighter gauge and do wear fast, i find i can get about three weeks before the wear marks get out of hand and feel like bumps up and ... Read More
Highlights
Quality
Excellent strings provides strength & propertuning resonance expected
The silk & steel construction of these strings provides a smooth, comfortable feel that is easy on the fingers.

Hardly and wind noise when moving up the neck.
Price
They are a great value for the price and i will definitely be purchasing more in the future.
Good price, good sound (mellow and soft) longevity is not that great but not terribly and either.
But these guitar strings are really worth their price and more.
Shipping
This came in a timely fashion and was as expected.
Packaging/appearance
These look great on my 1950s stella.
The only thing that i wasn’t used to was that the strings weren’t packaged separately.
They came in the same package with a guide that shows you what string’s ball end colors coincide with what string it is.
Competitiveness
The d'addario and martin strings i think are the best u can get and they don't cost that much and last a long time.
(for sound comparison, check out the finger picked guitar in old-school country and bluegrass music.

I had no idea that these silk and steels existed

They also seem to project a bit less volume than the nickle bronze and im guessing its mainly because of the lighter gauge of the lower four strings
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
Lastly i never stretch my strings when i install them so typically id have to monkey around with a newly installed set of nickle bronze before theyd stabilize

I dont know if the core material difference had anything to do with it or if i just got lucky on the installation

Anyway if you own a parlor guitar or are looking for strings that are gentler on your fingers these are really worth trying out
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
I tried these because i had heard they were easier on the fretting fingers than other strings due to the silk fibers in the string
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
I have not noticed any difference my fretting fingers are as calloused as usual and still sore after playing a lot
